Smile

I
a sincere smile on a sincere face
has captured a heart deep in disgrace
this smile was imperfact in some ways
but given so perfect like a warm embrace
that the heart once broken and thought never to smile
was made to smile by her unique style
of making a heart unknowingly fall
for her beauty and madness and grace and all
her smile made the heart rise up from the gallows
her smile made the heart forget all his sorrows
the smile given in the most gracefull way
had made the miserable heart’s day
and though the heart wishes the smile to stay
sadly, they both are miles away.

II
this smile has gotten a writer’s attention
who said not to write coz he had no inspiration
but thus the poet is eating his words
as the powerful smile has given him a verse
to write about the smile given to him
and this old young poet wrote another poem.
