fool on the hill

fool on the hill

Day after day,Alone on a hill,
The man with the foolish grin is sitting perfectly still,
And nobody wants to know him,
They can see that he's just a fool
But he never gives an answer
But the fool on the hill Sees the sun going down,
And the eyes in his head,
See the world spinning 'round.

Well on his way, head in a cloud,
The man with the thousand voices talking perfectly loud
But nobody ever to hears him,
or the sound he appears to make
and he never seems to notice
but the fool on the hill Sees the sun going down,
And the eyes in his head,See the world spinning 'round.

and nobody seems to like him
you can't tell what he wants to do
and he never shows his feelings
But the fool on the hill Sees the sun going down,
And the eyes in his head,See the world spinning 'round

and he never listens to them
he knows that they're the fools
they don't like him
But the fool on the hill Sees the sun going down,
And the eyes in his head,See the world spinning 'round
--Sir Paul McCartney

I just started humming this from the tom of my head...
I didn't notice I was humming it till I saw myself in the jeepney's mirror swaying my head.
then I actually started thinking if there is a fool on a hill somewhere.
someone laughing at the state of the Philippines. someone that the state has ignored but actually knows just what to do because he has a wider perspective than us.

if there is, I hope he'd come down and kick us all in the but so we could wake up.
